Lido San Domenico
A place of extraordinary natural beauty offering a picturesque view of the lake and the Caprino shore.
Located at number 12 on the ‘Sentiero di Gandria’, just a short walk from Villa Heleneum, it can also be reached by boat.
The Lido di Lugano isn’t the only place to cool off on hot early-summer days. We invite you to visit the Lido di San Domenico too, a place of extraordinary natural beauty offering a picturesque view of the lake and the Caprino shore.
Leaving Lugano in the direction of Gandria, once you’ve passed Via Cortivo – which runs at the foot of the village of Castagnola – you enter the Pre-Alpine National Park.
Here you’ll find dense laurel woods, lush olive trees, clumps of agave and all those species that reveal to the naturalist the origins and characteristic richness of southern flora.
